DESCRIPTION:Born and raised in Jupiter\, Florida\, Grace Givertz (she/her) has been writing songs and performing since she was eleven years old. Following her first EP The Light in 2017\, Grace turned her wit to grit when she released her independent record Year of the Horse (2019). Playing guitar\, banjo\, mandolin\, and harmonica in addition to vocals\, Year of the Horse showcases Grace’s ability to turn lemons into lemonade. She writes openly about living with chronic illness and how it has affected every aspect of her life\, turning tragedy into a triumphant debut. \n\n\n\nSince her arrival in Boston in 2016\, Grace Givertz has been featured in several publications including The Boston Globe\, Vanyaland\, and Allston Pudding. A two-time Boston Music Award nominee\, Grace has performed at well-loved Boston venues including Club Passim\, Brighton Music Hall\, The Burren\, and Great Scott. In 2022\, Grace was invited to join the inaugural cohort of the Harvard Ed Portal’s artist pipeline program. Grace is currently facilitating a series of songwriting workshops at Harvard with a focus on accessible music education. \n\n\n\nGrace is currently recording her sophomore album\, which will exclusively feature musicians and collaborators from BIPOC\, LGBTQ\, and disabled communities. DESCRIPTION:Zahili Gonzalez Zamora is a Cuban pianist\, composer\, bandleader\, arranger\, and educator. She feels most defined by her Cuban heritage and her status as an immigrant. Her passion for music has taken her to Canada\, to South East Asia and\, now\, to the United States. Her rich musical background\, career experience and extraordinary improvisation skills render her a leader in the modern Latin jazz idiom and an influential\, emulated musician. \n\n\n\n​In 2018\, her Afro-Cuban jazz Trio\, MIXCLA\, released its self-titled album\, which features her original tunes and arrangements. It has received critical acclaim and earned the attention of major agents locally and internationally. After that\, he published his first solo album named “Como los pájaros” (2014)\, which included a YouTube documentary series traveling and performing throughout Chile called “Como los pájaros x Chile”. \n\n\n\nThe Chilean artist moved to Boston USA in 2014 (where he’s currently based) for the completion of his music studies at Berklee College of Music (2014 – 2016). From there\, he’s been performing and touring throughout the United States\, Canada\, and back to Chile. \n\n\n\nNicolás started his musical journey at the age of 6\, through learning folk South American music\, singing\, and playing the acoustic guitar. Since his school years\, Nicolás has been part of a wide variety of music projects as a multi-instrumentalist\, vocalist\, composer/songwriter\, music director\, and orchestra conductor for professional musical theater shows.
