DESCRIPTION:Raised with devotion for music\, Gregory George Groover Jr is a twenty-nine year old tenor saxophonist and educator from Roxbury\, Massachusetts. His love and pursuit of music directed him to the Boston Arts Academy where he graduated in 2011 as both the Elma Lewis Graduate with distinction and the Louis Armstrong Jazz award. His effort and dedication to music led him to earn a full tuition scholarship to Berklee College of Music where he received both his Bachelors and Masters in Music Performance Studies through the Global Jazz Institute\, headed by world-renowned artistic director\, pianist\, and UNESCO Artist for Peace Danilo Perez. \n\n\n\nAs a performer\, Gregory has had the honor to share the stage with prestigious musicians such as Philip Bailey (Earth\, Wind\, and Fire)\, Patrice Rushen\, Terri Lyne Carrington\, Danilo Perez\, John Patitucci\, Brian Blade\, and Esperanza Spalding. As a bandleader and a sideman\, he has performed in music festivals in the United States\, Latin America\, Europe\, and Africa. \n\n\n\nAs an educator\, Gregory has served as the co-chair of music at his alma mater\, the Boston Arts Academy where he provided instruction in Jazz studies to the next generation of artists and scholars. Gregory currently serves as the Assistant Chair of Ensemble at the world renowned\, Berklee College of Music. In addition to teaching\, Gregory continues to perform regularly with his working bands and is celebrating the release of his second album: the Negro Spiritual Songbook Volume II – “The Message”.

DESCRIPTION:Nicolás Emden is a multi-instrumentalist\, composer\, singer and songwriter\, originally from Chilean Patagonia. His music navigates the waters of pop\, rock\, and Latin American folk. \n\n\n\nNicolás was a former member and founder of the Chilean band “Tejado Pimiento” (2007-2012) with whom he won the nacional TV contest “Garage Music” (Canal 13) and wrote 2 studio albums\, “Triciclo” (2007) and “Sensación de verdad” (2010). After that\, he published his first solo album named “Como los pájaros” (2014)\, which included a YouTube documentary series traveling and performing throughout Chile called “Como los pájaros x Chile”. \n\n\n\nThe Chilean artist moved to Boston USA in 2014 (where he’s currently based) for the completion of his music studies at Berklee College of Music (2014 – 2016). From there\, he’s been performing and touring throughout the United States\, Canada\, and back to Chile. \n\n\n\nNicolás started his musical journey at the age of 6\, through learning folk South American music\, singing\, and playing the acoustic guitar. Since his school years\, Nicolás has been part of a wide variety of music projects as a multi-instrumentalist\, vocalist\, composer/songwriter\, music director\, and orchestra conductor for professional musical theater shows. Her ears are trained to translate tenderness into works of art — and so is her eye for sentimental visuals\, thanks in part to a BFA in Fine Art Photography from the Rochester Institute of Technology. \n\n\n\nOriginally from western New York\, McCracken’s obsession with strong songs began at just eight years old\, long before she began tinkering on the guitar and drums as a preteen. It wasn’t until she was 19 that the world got to hear her strongest instrument – her voice – but she’s been using it to embrace crowds ever since. The single’s outreach clearly resonated with the scene; in recent months\, McCracken nabbed a New England Music Award for “Soul/R&B Act of the Year\,” as well as a nod from NEMA in the “Female Performer of the Year” category and a Boston Music Award nomination for “Singer Songwriter of the Year.” \n\n\n\nAfter wrapping up 2022 with a West Coast tour\, McCracken extends a piece of herself again\, unveiling her new single “just right” on February 22. DESCRIPTION:Jason Palmer has performed with Roy Haynes\, Wynton Marsalis and the LCJO\, Kurt Rosenwinkel\, Maria Schneider\, Ravi Coltrane\, Mark Turner\, Grace Kelly\, Allison Miller\, Lee Konitz\, Phil Woods\, Common\, Roy Hargrove\, Lewis Nash\, etc.  He has 16 albums as a leader and has performed on over 100 recordings as a sideperson.  Jason has toured in over 40 countries and is a professor at Berklee College of Music\, New England Conservatory of Music\, as well as a visiting artist at Arizona State University.  Jason has received multiple grants/commissions/fellowships in composition from CMA and Mass Cultural Council\, etc.  He also starred in the movie Guy and Madeline on a Park Bench directed by Damien Chazelle (Whiplash\, LaLa Land).   \n\n\n\nhttps://www.jasonpalmermusic.com/

DESCRIPTION:Nicolás Emden is a multi-instrumentalist\, composer\, singer and songwriter\, originally from Chilean Patagonia. His music navigates the waters of pop\, rock\, and Latin American folk. \n\n\n\nNicolás was a former member and founder of the Chilean band “Tejado Pimiento” (2007-2012) with whom he won the nacional TV contest “Garage Music” (Canal 13) and wrote 2 studio albums\, “Triciclo” (2007) and “Sensación de verdad” (2010). After that\, he published his first solo album named “Como los pájaros” (2014)\, which included a YouTube documentary series traveling and performing throughout Chile called “Como los pájaros x Chile”. \n\n\n\nThe Chilean artist moved to Boston USA in 2014 (where he’s currently based) for the completion of his music studies at Berklee College of Music (2014 – 2016). From there\, he’s been performing and touring throughout the United States\, Canada\, and back to Chile. \n\n\n\nNicolás started his musical journey at the age of 6\, through learning folk South American music\, singing\, and playing the acoustic guitar. Since his school years\, Nicolás has been part of a wide variety of music projects as a multi-instrumentalist\, vocalist\, composer/songwriter\, music director\, and orchestra conductor for professional musical theater shows. SUMMARY:Cameron Keiber
DESCRIPTION:In the late 1990s Cameron Keiber formed and co-fronted Boston indie noise pop outfit The Beatings.  The band released six albums. The Beatings toured the US for years  opening for the likes of The National\, The Yeah Yeah Yeahs\, Mclusky and other notables. The Beatings released their music on their own label called Midriff Records and garnered a dedicated following and critical praise from the likes of The Village Voice\, Mojo\, The Washington Post\, LA Weekly and others.  They disbanded after 20 years together.  \n\n\n\nAfter the breakup of The Beatings\, Keiber formed and continues to play with his project Eldridge Rodriguez.  That band has released four full length albums and a handful of EPs.  Eldridge Rodriguez has been praised by outlets such as Stereogum\, CoS\, Various Small Flames\, The Big Takeover and many more fine music/media outlets. Keiber continues to operate Midriff Records with his brother Clayton out of Brooklyn and Boston and has released 36 albums to date including releases from his projects and several other like minded bands.  Keiber is currently recording his first solo album with a tentative late 2024 release date.  The upcoming Eldridge Rodriguez full length\, Atrophy\, will be released by Midriff Records on September 15\, 2023.
