DESCRIPTION:BAMS Fest presents S.O.U.L.stice\n\n\n\n\nUnCommon Corner\, Boylston St &\, Tremont St\, Boston\, MA 02116\n\n\n\nEvery Thursday\, join Toki Wright and BAMS Fest at UnCommon for the S.O.U.L.stice series. This week’s performance will feature Toki Wright & Tiniqua! \n\n\n\n\n\nArtist Bios\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nToki Wright\n\n\n\nToki Wright is a two-time Emmy Award-winning MC\, poet\, producer\, and cultural diplomat.  He has received two CLIO Award for advertising with General Mills for the number one worldwide Twitter trending project “Watch the Stove” which was also nominated for a Cannes Lion Award.  Wright is currently the chair of the Professional Music Department at Berklee College of Music in Boston.  Before relocating he was the Department Head of the United States’ first fully accredited Hip-Hop Studies program at McNally Smith College of Music. The program was awarded the “Best Transformative Higher Learning Model” from the Hip-Hop Education Center at NYU. Toki also facilitated seven Twin Cities Celebration of Hip-Hop Festivals and helped establish “Hip-Hop at H.E.A.L.S\,” a program for former child soldiers in Gulu\, Northern Uganda. \n\n\n\n\nInstagram\n\nFacebook\n\nYouTube\n\nSpotify\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nTiniqua\n\n\n\nTiniqua Patrick is a Vocalist\, Arts Administrator\, Consultant\, and Founder and Lead Producer of Meraki Productions. Tiniqua finds joy in bringing good vibes and a hint of nostalgia during her performances. She is a forever student and finds her vocal home in Jazz\, but loves singing everything from Soul to Yacht Rock to Musical Theatre. She is grateful for the opportunity to perform for the BAMS Fest Soulstice series.  \n\n\n\nFor the last nine years\, she has been dedicated to producing and curating safe\, inclusive\, and inspiring events for artists and communities throughout Boston. When she is not working\, she is either watching anime\, listening to podcasts\, or trying to talk people into playing D&D. \n\n\n\n\nInstagram
