DESCRIPTION:Klara Poznachowska is a versatile harpist and composer from Poland\, celebrated for her broadstylistic range spanning classical\, contemporary\, and jazz music. She began her musicaleducation under the guidance of Professor Alina Baranowska\, who mentored her throughnumerous classical and contemporary competitions and festivals across Europe.In 2020\, Klara was awarded a full-tuition scholarship to attend Berklee College of Music\, whereshe had the opportunity to study and perform with renowned artists including Billy Childs\, JoeLovano\, Danilo Pérez\, John Patitucci\, Brian Blade\, Kenny Werner\, Jerry Bergonzi\, and DavidSánchez. \n\n\n\nDuring her time at Berklee\, she met Iranian clarinetist Mehrpouya Daneshvar\, with whom sheco-created the Klemer Trio\, joined by double bassist Lucas Phillips. Together\, they explore aunique sound at the intersection of Eastern European\, Middle Eastern\, and jazz traditions.After earning her bachelor’s degree in Performance\, Klara continued her studies at the BerkleeGlobal Jazz Institute\, where she is currently completing her master’s program. Her currentresearch and artistic work focus on the cultural and historical significance of Ukrainian heritagein a global context.
