This week’s performance will feature Toki Wright & VINNYMUCHO \n\n\n\n\n\nArtist Bios\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nToki Wright\n\n\n\nToki Wright is a two-time Emmy Award-winning MC\, poet\, producer\, and cultural diplomat.  He has received two CLIO Award for advertising with General Mills for the number one worldwide Twitter trending project “Watch the Stove” which was also nominated for a Cannes Lion Award.  Wright is currently the chair of the Professional Music Department at Berklee College of Music in Boston.  Before relocating he was the Department Head of the United States’ first fully accredited Hip-Hop Studies program at McNally Smith College of Music. The program was awarded the “Best Transformative Higher Learning Model” from the Hip-Hop Education Center at NYU. Toki also facilitated seven Twin Cities Celebration of Hip-Hop Festivals and helped establish “Hip-Hop at H.E.A.L.S\,” a program for former child soldiers in Gulu\, Northern Uganda. \n\n\n\n\nInstagram\n\nFacebook\n\nYouTube\n\nSpotify\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nVINNYMUCHO\n\n\n\nVINNYMUCHO is a recording artist\, audio engineer\, cinematographer\, and creative director from New Haven\, Connecticut. Blending hip-hop\, R&B\, and cinematic storytelling\, their music explores themes of identity\, love\, self-discovery\, ambition\, and emotional growth through honest lyricism and captivating performances. \n\n\n\nA multidisciplinary artist both on and off the stage\, VINNYMUCHO is deeply involved in every aspect of their creative process—from songwriting and recording to visual storytelling and creative direction. Their ability to merge music with compelling visuals has helped shape a distinct artistic voice rooted in authenticity\, vulnerability\, and self-expression. \n\n\n\nVINNYMUCHO has performed throughout the Northeast\, including appearances at the Boston Black Pride Music & Arts Festival\, where they opened for Dej Loaf and Saucy Santana.
