SUMMARY:Adeline Um
DESCRIPTION:Adeline Um is a Korean American singer songwriter who started her music journey as a Berklee City Music scholar. She started her songwriting career by writing her own indie-pop music and also works in the EDM/Deep House sphere as a topline singer songwriter. \n\n\n\nHer lyrical translations of experiences\, travel\, love\, and connections is strongly felt within the sounds and melodies she creates. Her performances provide a soft landing for her listeners to feel safe and enjoy vulnerability and deep connection. As a Korean American who has lived in Boston and Scotland\, she hopes her music is able to express the complexity of culture and humanity\, while connecting people of different backgrounds. \n\n\n\nhttps://adelineummusic.wixsite.com/website \n\n\n\nTikTok\, Instagram\, FB: @adelineum

SUMMARY:The Rupert Selection Acoustic
DESCRIPTION:The Rupert Selection is an American psychedelic grunge band from Boston\, Massachusetts. Comprising Reilly Somach (guitar/vocals)\, Sam Bouve (bass/vocals)\, and Peter Bartash (drums)\, the band has created a loyal following throughout New England with their “original voice” and “sound anchored in hard rock” (the Boston Globe). \n\n\n\nImproper Magazine had this to say about the band’s live shows—“The Rupert Selection sparked the loudest crowd interaction\, with fans shouting to fill the pauses in the trio’s deft\, dynamic mash of Nirvana-Esque blasts and math-prog rhythm shifts.” Embodying everything you love about 90s grunge but with a modern twist\, the band has released 3 EPs and a full-length album. Each release was built upon the previous album but without leaving the band’s original psychedelic rock roots behind. \n\n\n\nThe Rupert Selection has left its mark on Boston with sold-out venues and heaps of praise from local media—nominated for “Rock Artist of The Year” back to back in 2018 and 2019 by the Boston Music Awards\, being a finalist in the WZLX Rock and Roll Rumble\, being named one of the “10 Acts On The Rise In Boston” by WGBH\, and one of “10 Local Acts Making Waves” by Improper Boston Magazine. \n\n\n\nThe future is bright for The Rupert Selection as a new album is in the works\, with Brian Charles at the helm as producer. \n\n\n\nwww.therupertselection.com \n\n\n\nwww.instagram.com/therupertselection  \n\n\n\nwww.Facebook.com/therupertselection

SUMMARY:Grace Givertz
DESCRIPTION:Born and raised in Jupiter\, Florida\, Grace Givertz (she/her) has been writing songs and performing since she was eleven years old. Following her first EP The Light in 2017\, Grace turned her wit to grit when she released her independent record Year of the Horse (2019). Playing guitar\, banjo\, mandolin\, and harmonica in addition to vocals\, Year of the Horse showcases Grace’s ability to turn lemons into lemonade. She writes openly about living with chronic illness and how it has affected every aspect of her life\, turning tragedy into a triumphant debut. \n\n\n\nSince her arrival in Boston in 2016\, Grace Givertz has been featured in several publications including The Boston Globe\, Vanyaland\, and Allston Pudding. A two-time Boston Music Award nominee\, Grace has performed at well-loved Boston venues including Club Passim\, Brighton Music Hall\, The Burren\, and Great Scott. In 2022\, Grace was invited to join the inaugural cohort of the Harvard Ed Portal’s artist pipeline program. Grace is currently facilitating a series of songwriting workshops at Harvard with a focus on accessible music education. \n\n\n\nGrace is currently recording her sophomore album\, which will exclusively feature musicians and collaborators from BIPOC\, LGBTQ\, and disabled communities. The inclusion we long to see in the folk community will not happen if we do not employ the people who have so long been excluded. She is a 2022 Live Arts Boston grant recipient from The Boston Foundation supporting her next album. \n\n\n\n“The only real option is to smile at how much [Grace] packs into a tiny punch of a song.”  – digboston \n\n\n\ngracegivertz.com \n\n\n\nPhoto Credit: Omari Spears
