Born from Boston’s freestyle dance culture, Ashton “Stackz / Stiggity Stackz” Lites is a DJ, cultural organizer, and creative entrepreneur known for immersive, genre-blending sets rooted in rhythm, movement, and soul. Since launching his residency and dance party The Funkshun: Hold My Drank! at Middle East Restaurant and Nightclub in 2018, Stackz has built a signature sound—Stiggity SMMR Soul—that blends House, Hip Hop, R&B, Baile Funk, Disco, Future Beats, and global dance music into high-energy journeys built for both dancers and party spaces.
As the founder of StiggityStackz Worldwide, his DJ practice extends beyond nightlife into community-centered cultural experiences. He has DJ’d battles, festivals, and events across the U.S. and internationally including Montreal, Amsterdam, Denver, Chicago, Dallas, New York, and Florida, with appearances at events such as Beats on the Beach, Soul Call Series, and Open World Chicago. Stackz has also collaborated with organizations including Boston Harbor Now, GrubStreet, HarborArts, and Emerson College, while continuing to champion underground sounds, deep cuts, and local artists through every set.
