A duo performance from Emerson College students Lauren Scott & Meredith Hill!
Lauren Scott is a musician from Mendon, MA. She has been performing for over a decade both solo and in ensembles on piano, vocals, guitar, bass, and other instruments. She is also a rising junior at Emerson College studying Global Health Communication (B.S.), the founder of The Music Den, a brand new music student organization at Emerson, and a vocal percussionist for Acappellics, an Emerson acappella group. She has played at local venues for the past few years, and is thrilled for the opportunity to perform at the UnCommon Stage. She hopes to evoke joy, love, and reflection through her relaxed, coffeehouse-style performance.
Meredith, or wizard skillet on music platforms, is a senior IDS major at Emerson College focusing in music production and business. they are one of the vice president’s of the new music den org, and have performed at at uncommon stage and other local venues in Boston. They play guitar and bass, and have been producing and releasing their own music since 2022. Outside of music, (which is most of their life) they lifeguard in the summers and draw comics!
