12:00 | Jasmine Rochelle Goodspeed
Jasmine Rochelle Goodspeed[She/They](Nipmuc) is a Massachusetts based actor, singer/songwriter, playwright and director. Coming up in a musical family, Jasmine first stepped on stage at 3 years old. Her music stylings are heavily influenced by her love for musical theater, and historic ballads. As an actress, Jasmine has performed on several stages. Among her favorite performances is a collaboration with the Wampanoag Nation and Theatre Royal Plymouth in the UK where she also performed in a music showcase. Her most frequented of stages is not a stage at all, but rather various locations at faires, SCA events, and flea markets. She does not currently have a Spotify or way to stream her music, and instead sings and performs where she feels called to, simply for the fun of it.

2:00 | Thea Hopkins
Thea Hopkins calls her music Red Roots Americana. A member of the Aquinnah Wampanoag tribe of Martha’s Vineyard MA, she’s been described as a “standout writer” by the Washington Post. Roberta Schwartz of the Folk & Acoustic Music Exchange wrote “the beauty of Thea’s voice is matched by the brilliance of her lyrics.”
She has played stages throughout the U.S., Canada and Great Britain.
The Thea Hopkins trio features Berklee professor Tom Appleman, (who’s played bass with everyone from the Drifters to The Doors’ Robby Krieger) and Maxfield Anderson, Americana multi-instrumentalist.
In 2024, Thea attended the ISPA Congress in Perth (AUS) and WOMEX in Manchester (UK) as a Western Arts Alliance artist delegate. The New York Stage and Film fund selected Thea as a 2024 Northeast Indigenous Voices artist resident in support of her play “An American Ghost Dance”. Venues where Thea has performed include Massey Hall (CN), Banff Centre For The Arts (CN) Kennedy Center (DC), Woody Guthrie Festival (OK), the Moseley Folk Festival (UK), the Atkinson (UK), the Summertyne Americana Festival (UK) and the Bluebird Cafe (TN).
Thea came to wider public notice when Peter, Paul & Mary recorded her song “Jesus Is On The Wire” in 2004, and then again in 2010 with the Prague Symphony Orchestra. In 2021, Hopkins was the Grand Prize winner of the Great American Song Contest for her ballad “The Ghost of Emmett Till.”
Her new album is scheduled to be released in January 2026.
