Jesús González Brito, also known as “Pingüino,” is a versatile Canarian-Venezuelan musician: arranger, composer, and producer. His career boasts over 130 recordings across three continents. He performs with remarkable skill in both popular and classical music. As an educator, he has led workshops and masterclasses in Argentina, Germany, Spain, Uruguay, and Chile, for both children and adults of varying musical experience. He has collaborated on numerous occasions with the Uruguayan Youth Symphony Orchestra, the Venezuelan Symphony Orchestra, the Caracas Municipal Symphony Orchestra, the Venezuelan National Philharmonic Orchestra, and the Simón Bolívar Symphony Orchestra. He has also toured extensively throughout Uruguay and Argentina as Director of the Simón Bolívar Ensemble (a group of Uruguayan professional musicians dedicated to promoting the rich sound of Venezuelan music) and the TierraSur Ensemble (a group of Argentine musicians).
