In partnership with our community curator Ágora Cultural Architects, one of the premiere cultural presenting organizations in Greater Boston, and Hernan Choque of beloved Salsa studio Salsa y Control, UnCommon’s Salsa Nights feature live Salsa band – Son Mass, DJ Hernan Choque, free community Salsa dance lessons from Salsa y Control, professional performances, and open dance.  The Common comes to life with Salsa beats, and UnCommon provides an unforgettable opportunity for shared, cultural experiences.

Son Mass

Son Mass is a modern Salsa band whose performances burst with energy, blending jazz-like harmonies, dynamic arrangements, and collective improvisation that inevitably get audiences on their feet to dance, while celebrating the cultural diversity of the Latin American community in Massachusetts.
